Delete Lines That Begin With

Macro function: DeleteLinesThatBeginWith()

This command can be used to delete all lines that begin with a user-specified text string.  If a range of lines is selected, the operation will be restricted to the selected range.  A confirmation is required before the command is performed, and the number of deletions made is reported upon completion.
