Macro function: StripTrailingSpaces()

The Strip Trailing Spaces command can be used to remove trailing Spaces and/or Tabs from the end of each line within the selection.  The number of characters removed is reported upon completion.

Trailing blanks can also be stripped automatically when loading a file.  See the Strip trailing blanks when loading a file option on the  Configure | Preference | File I/Ooptions page.
